I use a crow call during the day when birds have shut up. Other than that I like to know where the birds I'm hunting are going to be coming off the roost or set up where they are roosting in the evening.

I know two guys that called on him but I can only think of two reasons why he gets away with it, one is they don't catch him in the act and two is the only reason he acts that way is there is game lands on the mountain behind us and his son was killed many years ago with a stray 7mm mag round from what I assume was a missed shot down the mountain. Word is he can't afford the taxes anymore tho so maybe soon there will be a new hunter friendly owner

Scouting trip tomorrow WOOOOO. I'm pumped! Saw a flock of about 30 last night on my way to soccer practice with a few strutters.

Now that I mention that, I feel like I haven't really formally introduced myself... My name is Drew. I am a 17 year old from lincoln, nebraska. I enjoy walleye fishing, deer hunting, swimming, and soccer, but my favorite thing in the world is hunting turkey's! This will be my 6th year hunting them and I have 8 or nine to my name so far (5 with a bow).

I shoot an elite answer, and I will get pics up a little later

Name is Adam, I'm 28 from a small town in western NC. Married with a 3 year old daughter and 6 month old son. I teach carpentry at a local high school and coach football as well. This will be my 13th year chasing long beards. I'll also be headed out in the morning for a scouting trip and hopefully will bring back some footage to upload . I'll be hunting with my Elite Hunter..

I'm Brad. I'm 22 and a senior civil engineering major at Ohio State. This will be my 6th year turkey hunting and 2nd with a bow. I was able to call nice toms in for everyone I hunted with last spring, but couldn't seal the deal for myself. I had about 5-10 long beards hang up around 30-40 yards over the course of the season and finished up with just a bearded hen and a jake. That's why I invested in the DSD's to try to get the birds those last 20-30 yards. I also managed to get permission on an awesome piece of ground for this spring. It's a guy about 30 min. from the house that is a deer outfitter with a couple thousand acres of ground. Best thing is he doesn't have anyone turkey hunting on him and I will have sole permission!!

Cody here. Breinigsville pa. First time as an adult bow hunting again. Shot a lot when i was younger until contact sports, girls, and shot gunning monopliZed my time. I shoot some competition skeet now and the. I hunt a farm bordering game land mountains on two sides and an ahole owned woods on the other. I've taken toms with pepper gun but not with a bow. I shoot an 08 Hoyt katera at 27" & 68# draw. Looking forward to bagging a big bird and helping the pecker wreckers come out on top. Scouting will have to wait until the 2' of snow thaws and then I hope to take out one of boys on his first scouting trip. So far we have set up the blind in the living room, dressed in camo, and practiced calling. He's shot more decoys with a nerf bolt action then anyone ever has. Nice to meet you fellas

Never actually saw a turkey this morning, but heard em everywhere. Saw a ton of tracks over some fresh snow, and I gained access to a new farm...
