That's good shooting. Bow update it's not done yet. Guy at the shop said he was sick all week. That's two full weeks without it. Getting impatient now that the weather is turning

Just ordered some magnus bullhead bh. Next on the list is the swap my rip cord out for a QAD. Then get it retuned again.

P.s. I have a slightly used, good as new rip cord for sale.

I am beyond ready for the season to open. I got bored while practicing yesterday and lined up a wiffle ball in front if my target... I found a spot that would allow me to shoot right through the ball without breaking it and went for it. First time, I got it from about 10 yards! Haha

My grandma sent me this earlier today. Toms were strutting around her house in a suburban area this morning!

Nice shot. I have a hard time shooting at the head because they move to much. Full metal jacket tipped with a Grimm Reaper WTS straight to the body does it for me.

Well, today I saw a flock feeding in a corn field near my school. 6-7 hens and 3 toms which isn't bad for a flock living in a city park on the outskirts of town

These were all in my grandparent's driveway again this morning.. The one in the back is an old bird. We call him the limper because he steps with only the tip of his right foot when he walks. Look at the spurs on that old dude!

just got back from another scouting trip. Watched the flock from a distance this morning for about 2 hours. Before my dad and i had time to do anything, all of a sudden they were right on top of us. They eventually busted us, but it shouldn't bother things come the opener. We got some good pics and video so i'll get that up after i get them off my dad's phone. The flock is down to about 30, and about 10 are 2yr old + toms. Things are looking bright!

Just got done shooting the new bow for the second time. Switched to a four finger thumb release today and was center punching x's on a five spot target. Now just to get on the birds. Watched two longbeards in the field by my house last night. Hopefully they don't go far in the next few weeks.

Still haven't gotten my bow back. This is now starting the fourth week they've had it for strings. Getting really frustrated. If the shop wasn't run by the same old guy that taught my dad to shoot and then me as a young kid id be down there flipping out. Now i feel like I'm stuck

Haven't had much time to scout yet, but here's a 40 yard group. Gotta drift my pin a little bit and I'll be ready to kill them at least.

Not bad. How's it look at 15 yards? I like em strutting in around 12. I don't set up for 40 until it's time to drop a deer.

I suppose that's what I get for having a "best group" competition with a few buddies

Expensive is right!! But I'm about to go try my hand at my first ever 3d shoot, so maybe I'll win some cash to put towards some more arrows! Wish me luck!

Doing just fine at 15, too. I just like practicing at 40 for the extra challenge.
