    My God... I am sorry to hear that. I'm not on your team or anything but wanted to offer my condolences for your loss. My dogs are like my children and I can only imagine the pain that loseing your best friend and your home all at once must bring. My heart goes out to you and I hope you can find strength in friends and family.

    What broad heads are you guys shooting for birds this year. I'm a slick trick guy think I might try kill zones after I saw what they do to a deer

    100 gr slick trick mags. Same as deer hunting setup. Tried killzones during deer season because of what 1 did to buddies deer. I shot 1 at deer and it made a buzzing sound and stuck in ground almost 20 yards past deer. Shot a 2nd time at same deer, buzzed and hit 5 feet right of deer. Got 3rd shot at 30 yards with slick trick. Eating steak today for lunch. Nothing to deflect off of so truly believe they deployed when shot. Shooting around 325fps so not sure if thats the problem with them but either way no more mechs for me.
    Also they were strutting in the blowing snow yesterday. Come on saturday

    ive been shooting 100 g mags for years now and love em always like to try some new stuff out though. im a mechanical skeptic. ive seen wayyy to much man made **** fail!

    Birds should head straight to fields if its raining! I killed my biggest bird ever in a hoorible down pour and he was gobbling like he knew oit was his last chance to make a good commotion!

    Thats what I'm hoping. Just left basspro where i work. Bought everything I had put back plus licenses. $300. Won't be showing wife that one.....lol

    I heard that lazy I've got $250 in a new walleye rod n reel that on got snuck in the house as well!! Good luck in morning! Keep me posted I'm off all weekend

    Had 1 working around me gobbling almost non stop. Lasted till first hard rain. Then nothing. Gonna move and setup again in a little while.

    Just called him in. He came on a dead run and stopped behind this tree. Strut, spit, gobble. Everything but go the few more steps to decoys. Couldn't draw. He got nervous and putted off. Shotgun would have been ideal. Now why did I bring my bow again...lol

    The plan is to kill a monster of a bird with 6 beards and 2" spurs. Heading back out in morning. Been horrible weather today but should clear up tonight. Gonna start near where I had that tom so close and then just roll from there. I've got a good spot to setup but will have to clear a few little starts from the ground. Trimmers already packed. Your opener is coming up fast. Ready?

    Gonna go through all my shnit this weekend get everything organized . Our birds do the same thing just about every year so its gonna be a matter of right spot right time. I hope you do kill a mutant tomorrow!! You know where they are heading from the roost?

    Pretty good idea where to start. Been hunting this farm for 15 years. Just a few spots they tend to roost majority of time.
