Did a little scouting in a few new spots this afternoon and found some good sign. Saw a few groups of birds but they are all grouped up still with no strutting yet.

Finally losing some snow and seeing some birds on the move. Have a couple cams out watching while I'm not out there. Hope to have some pics in a week.

Well after 44 hours of chasing turkeys in 3 days. I never even got the chance to hunt. My buddy was up to bat first (i will camera man until he filled the first tag) he had a few miss haps and never filled his tag so needless to say I didn't have a chance to fill mine. Iowa seasons opens in a week and I hope to get it done, I will be self filming so if I can't get it done this time there I will have no one to blame but myself!

Awesome pic ^^^. It seems like they're finally starting to heat up here a little bit now that we are getting some decent weather. Thank the Lord for no more snow!

Went out this morning to drive around and listen for some birds and heard no less than 10 different gobblers within a few miles of each other. This coming Saturday is our youth season so I will be out with my younger brother and then on Monday I finally get a chance to get in the woods. So far it's shaping up to be another awesome season.

That Strutter I watch daily, out my laundry room window. When the windows in the house are open I can hear him gobbling from my bed.

Looks like a good one! Season is still 3 weeks away for me.....going to start some more serious scouting here real soon. Got a few trail cam pics of some 2 year olds, but nothing yet that makes me say WOW.
