i was able to turn two toms into four! After i tagged out i took the wife out and she shot a Tom by 0730 Friday with her shotgun at 35 yards. Then i took my cousin out the next day and he filled his tag by 0700 at 10 yards with his shotgun! So after a rough start to my turkey seasons we shot 4 Toms in 4.5 hours!

Hunt where they are going....not off the roost. Hunt them mid-day also....if you can get one to respond to your calls there is a good chance he will come in. Dusting areas are also a good bet for mid-day hunting.

Well guys I shot a giant yesterday but unfortunetly it wasn't with a bow as my Faktor still hasn't showed up yet. Figured I would post him up anyway though. 24lbs, double beard 10.5 and 10 inch beards and 1 3/8 hooks. Shame I couldn't tag him with the bow because he is one of my personal bests.

Nothing to add to the score. Both birds were smaller the my biggest one, but i tagged out in Nebraska yesterday. First one with a bow, and the second one with the ole 12 gauge!

Nope still have about 4 more weeks and 5 tags left so I'm hopeful the bow shows up in time to put a bird or two down.

Finally started Monday.....got my buddy a bird first thing but no luck for me. Had a jake in the dekes but the bigger toms stayed away.

Just wondering who is still hunting and who is done? Figured we'd have some more birds posted by now.

Still hunting here in NJ but unfortunately my Turbo still hasn't come in I've got four birds down with the shotgun and a couple more called in for my brother and also got my little cousin his first bird so it's been a great year but I wish the bow would hurry up and come in because I'm starting to run out of time and permits.

Sorry it's took so long guys but I finally got mine on the ground this morning. Damn what a tough season it's been. He's a big old bird too. 25½ pounds, 11 inch beard and both spurs are 1½ inches each. Scores 77.50. uploadfromtaptalk1399657334163.jpguploadfromtaptalk1399657356516.jpguploadfromtaptalk1399657379863.jpguploadfromtaptalk1399657401083.jpg

Don't know if anyone is even looking at this thread anymore, but I've got some more points for us. Also self filmed the whole thing, but haven't had any time to put it together yet.
