    Team 9 - Strut Stoppers

Congratulations! Here is your team for the 9th Annual Archerytalk Turkey Contest! Please begin by signing in and having 1 member send a PM to each of the remaining members advising them of what team they are on with a link to this thread. Use this thread for discussion purposes including posting trail camera pictures, discussing tactics, etc. Discuss among yourselves a team name and have your team come to a majority. Once a team name is chosen, have one of your teammates post it in the Team Name Registration thread. Please keep your team in the loop as the season goes on. Hunt smart and have a safe and successful season! Good luck to each and every one of you!

Checking in... Thank Pa for the heads up. I've done this for a couple of years and teams use the same names year in and out. Something unique would be cool... How about "Head Trauma"

I've got nothing for names right now so whatever you guys decide works for me. Heading out shortly to set up for the afternoon hunt. Hopefully I can get some points up this weekend.

Sounds good to me. Might as well go with that one.

So what type of broadheads do you guys usually use? I'm going with the Bullhead this year again. Nothing like taking their head right off.

I've never shot the Bullhead...shot a few with the Guillotine and thats always a good time. I went to the Rocket Sledgehammers and Tom o Hawks a few years ago and they work great too. I wish there was a larger selection of 3" or 3.5" expandables.

rages worked good for me last year. Im sticking with them for now unless I decide to pull the bullheads out.

I'm going with my old reliable Wasp Jakhammer's. Never used bullheads or guillotines but they look fun.
