Thread: Team 10 - Ticking Tom Bombs

  1. #26
Sounds good to me. So help me out fellow team members...do I sell my carbon element and buy a carbon spyder 30?

Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.

I will be hunting a lot with MONSTER11. He is on team #7. He calls in 15-25 long beard kills a year and has called in 7 or 8 for me over the years. Last year we called in and killed around 30 birds between 3 of us last year. We have a great time and there is few things more fun than turkey killing. The comradery between my friends and I in April is unbelievable. We no longer call in turkey hunting it is turkey killing.

I'll be using my Carbon Element again this year, love that thing, and G5 T3's for broadheads. I painted my pretty boy's head this year and made it look a little more natural I believe. I'm excited to give it a try. Also bought an Avian X feeding hen decoy to use this year. As far as the blind goes, I find it more thrilling to hunt without a blind. But I do have an old Yukon Tracks hub-style blind that I'm sure I will use periodically.

Great story, I may try without a blind this year. I have 2 pop ups a Cabela Predator Den and a Rhino, I just picked up a Huntmore Chair this year, am looking forward to sitting in it at my age I need all the comfort I can get. I have 3 bows I can shoot in the sig. I will either be using Bullheads or Rocky Mt Snypers for broadheads. The decoy is a Primos Killer Bee, with a real tail fan, that I have shot many turkeys over. My name is Terry, how about every one putting their name in a post so we can know who each other s name is?

NE, 2013. My cameraman, Eric on the right. We doubled up on these birds within 5 minutes of one another. Eric also took out most of another's tail as he was walking dead away from us, so we were that close to having 3 in 5 minutes. I shot mine, and gave Eric my bow and took the vid camera. LOL...Eric has killed more animals with my bow than his own over the last 5 years. I need to watch the footage and count, but I am guessing we had a minimum of 20 gobblers walk right past the blind during a span of 10 minutes.

A little about me: My name is Ryan and Im 19 years old. I started going along with my dad when I was about 6 and have been hooked every since. I started archery hunting when I was 16 and have taken 5 deer with a bow over my course of 3 years. Im currently attending Bloomsburg University, majoring in Elementary Ed. I get an extreme amount of joy out of killing things(not to be taken the wrong way). I am also currently trying to become a part of Dirt Nap Gears pro staff. Give their broad heads a try, they're wicked!
