    Martin Razor X

I picked up this Martin from the classified in trade for some stuff like sights and a release that I am no longer interested in using

I dont know a lot about Martins from this time period. I believe it is a 99?

    It has nitrous cams

Anyone know much about these bows? Really curious to see how it shoots. LONG riser and relatively short limbs for a 45" axle to axle, I imagine it will be a reasonably fast shooter.

I do not know anything about them except that at one time I believe they were thought to be a good fingers choice. Riser appears to be at least a little deflexed? What is the brace height?
Most religions teach that you earn salvation by keeping rules. Jesus didn't teach that "good people" go to heaven. He taught that "forgiven people" go to heaven. And He invited everyone, no matter what their past, to come to Him and be forgiven.

    Here's some info...http://www.martinarchery.com/bows2004/raz.htm
My Razor X has the 16" straight limbs which makes it around 42.5" ATA, 8.5" Brace Height, and, shoots like a dream!
I've got some 17" Elite limbs to throw on it to get that 45" ATA, but, that's a project on the back burner for now!
The string chart shows the string lengths for the 3 versions of the M-79 Razor X- SE, Straight, and, Elite...

Good luck with your new to you Martin...

The Razor X is an awesome bow. I had one with the Elite limbs, but changed out the cams. I felt the Nitrous cams were too wild for finger shooting so I replaced them with Furious cams. It felt like a completely different bow after that. It was much easier to shoot and my scores went way up.
