    Bought One today..Overdrive

I am a new and proud Bowtech owner...Carbon Overdrive. I was actually looking and shooting different bows. This was not even on my radar, till I shot it. WOW. that is it WOW. It is a beast and smooth. I was leaning towards an Elite 35. I shot those today, The Elite 32. I shot a Carbon Knight, looked at the Mathews and PSE (Owner of PSE Vendetta for a few years now- Just handed it down to son). That said This is the lightest, smoothest bow I have ever shot. I have heard the talk, now I understand. Thanks to my Pro Shot Honey Creek Tackle in Bargersville, IN best shop ever! WTG Bowtech.

Congrats! Be careful though... The punch is strong in this cult. I just bought my first bow ever in March (CK)... I already bought a 360 on top of that!

Yeah, that's a great little bow. I wish I hadn't traded mine for a RPM.

Jay I liked the RPM 360. SHOT VERY NICE, but some vibrationz at the end of the shot. The overdrive was flat great.

I have a couple friends who have the Overdrive and really like it. Personally the bow wasn't for me. After shooting several arrows out of the Carbon Overdrive, RPM 360 and Experience, I ended up going with the Experience. I love this bow a lot.

Guess that is why they make so many bows lol. Honestly Bowtech was not something I thought of. I have been shooting new bows here and there. I was actually looking at the CK, used, and my shop asked if I had shot the CO, tried it and it was the one. I had made up my mind to get the Elite 35, before shooting the CO. Glad I waited.

Glad to see the Overdrive is getting some love. The draw at 29" is not the best but for a deer hunting rig it's hard to beat. Can't wait to get in the woods.

The cams must be timed perfectly or you will get some vibes. Good luck with the CO, great bow.

Just ask your bow shop if you can shoot the bows with a stabilizer on it.

I shot the Carbon Overdrive and RPM recently. The CO wanted to "kick up" after the shot and had a slight tinge in the grip. We put a stabilizer on it, and bam, solved all that mess.
The RPM had an oh so slight vib in the grip. We put the stabilizer on it and magically it went away.
Anyway, my suggestion to people testing out new bows at their local bow shops is to put a stabilizer on the bow while shooting.

Square that makes sense. I haven't shot it yet with a stabilizer, but I had 0 hand shock in the OD and as you stated some small amount in the RPM. I figured the stabilizer or dampeners would relieve it.

Got my OD set up yesterday, and da**! what a great bow. Already shoot the Experience and I can now safely say that I have two great bows for years to come. Fitted some Bomars on the OD and the wall is now great! The OD will be my primary huntingrig for sure.

Great decision, I shot the CK, CO and RPM loved them all but due to price I went with the CK. I found not much difference between the carbons but the rpm had a slight vibe. The CK is the best choice for price, heck I own a 2010 Rytera Alien x, 2013 Martin Alien, 2013 Elite Answer and the CK is the best of my bows IMHO. Better draw, no vibe at shoot and I just like it better then all the bows I shot to date and I shot a lot of different bows.

I shoot at 28" so I am even shorter. Great big head and little tiny arms! LOL.

There sure is some big discrepancy in opinions on the Carbon Overdrive.
Here the o p and others say the bow shoots great and has very little vibration.
In the why no love for the o d thread people claim it vibrates so bad it's
Painful or like hitting an aluminum bat against a steel pole.

Well, if it's not timed right, off course you will get a vibe with a light bow like the OD. I had a slight vibe when I first tried it, sorted out one of the cams and now its silent as my wife when I told her I wanted a new bow. Silent and deadly.

Really don't think Bowtech would release a bow that vibrates like bat against a steel pole. They are not that stupid.

Nikeffo. I realize that. but if you read some of these other peoples experiences' test shooting them in the no love thread,
you almost have to laugh. I handled one at the Iowa deer classic this year and thought they looked pretty nice. I also
liked the grip. It reminded me of the Specialist grip, which I wish Bowtech used on all of their bows.

I like everything about it except the draw cycle , I don't like the hump and dump . Bowtech needs to put a different cam system on it . Something a little smoother .
