NAP Killzones: Just Bought a Pack

Just picked up a pack of 100 grain Trophy Tip NAP Killzones. I've been eyeing these for over a year. What do y'all think?

Some of the best mechanical blades on the market. It will leave one heck of a hole. I'm sure you will be impressed

They leave a nice gash and were pristine afterward as well. I was all in on the Rages but every one I shot looked more like a Toxic head than a Rage afterward. I just couldn't help thinking in the end it would cost me sooner or later.

They are not indestructible but they do the job and hold up well on a rib shot... shoot a shoulder and the head will be done.

I know. I had the trophy tips in my hand but they were 125 grains. Same price on the 125's too.

I love them. 3 deer, 3 passthroughs, 3 perfect heads after burying into the rocky soil and 3 deer dead in sight.

I have some 100gr Killzones, but I'm switching to 125s. Do you guys know if the 125gr Killzones are longer than the 100s, or are they just a bit thicker? I ask cause I keep mine in those red Rage cases and they almost are too long. If the 125s are longer they may not fit!

Are they ready to shoot out of the package or do yall fiddle with them for better performance?

I went ahead and maxed out the limbs on my 65 Lb Spyder Turbo to get better ballistic #s. I went from 67 lbs to 73 lbs KE and .48 to .50 momentum. Speed jumped from 282 to 295 fps. Should be a better fit for the Killzone.

They are good to go out of the package but I always like to open and close my mechs a couple times. If nothing more than to make sure everything is moving properly. They'll feel stiff to open but don't worry, they'll open no problem. If you tighten the screw too much you can get some binding, just like over tightening anything, so make it snug without going crazy on it.

just open them by hand a hand full of times just to get everything moving good. then screw them on and shoot. My tuning head has 50+ shots on it between 2 season and still spins true, locks and opens properly. The blades are beginning to get a little loose but its expected after that many shots.
