I'm almost ready to try em just a lil more tuning before twisting on a broadhead (new set up).

How was the sharpness out of the pack?

I bought a pack of double bevel Dirtnaps this spring. Any blade that's sharpened with a grinder will have at least a small burr, but they were still sharp enough to hunt with I guess. A few strokes on my Tru Angle fine grit stones had them scary sharp. They'll be in my quiver this fall.
The pic is a 30 yard group with a new Faktor34 that hasn't been tuned yet. The arrow at bottom center has a 125gr. Dirtnap and the other two are field points.

I will say that with the 25 gr. collars on there are only a few threads left to go into the insert and I fear they may bend or break if heavy bone is hit.

Me and a buddy did some testing with one this weekend. Slammed one into a very thick sheet of compressed particle board with the collar on and off. These are some incredibly tough bh"s. We eventually beat it up pretty good and bent the tip but.no part of it ever came apart. The things were hell to dig out of that board. Dirt Nap is making some good heads. On a side note the surprise of the testing was a 125 montec. Penetrated surpringly deep and looked almost flawless after 5 or so shots. I was shocked tbh.

Mine are flying true as well. I've been trying to find a hog to run one through but my work schedule has been crazy. Maybe next weekend I'll see how they fair on a tough boar.

I shot them the other day indoors. They flew great at 30 yds, but they are very loud.
