Bought a Stealth SS a few weeks ago and it came with a RangeMaster Pro Scope . Today I go out to sight in some fixed heads and the scope is so blurry I cant make out the target @ 30 yards. I tried to adjust the focus ring to no avail. Is there something I'm missing here ?
Are you sure you are turning the rear reticle focusing , or the feet per second adjuster? Did you previously look through scope when you purchased it, and was it in focus then?
Yes it was but you had to have your eye just right or it would be blurry. Now its just blurry all the time. "Real bad" no matter what I do or how my eye is positioned to the scope.
The thing I've noticed is if you crank the speed dial up to 400 fps. I can get the scope in focus. If I go back down to 340 where I need it, theres nothing I can do to get it focused.
Now the weird thing is I just took the scope off the bow and layed it on the table. Went to go get a cup of coffee and came back and looked through the scope and its crystal clear ? What the heck going on here ? Going to reinstall and see what happens.
No. The scope was definitely messed up. Tenpoint took care of me with a new scope. All is good now. Ready for the season :thumbs_up
