Just wondering, if the shooter does his part how many points is the S better than the P? I'M just an old timer looking to have some fun hogging some Spots, and 3D 12 rings. I've had some neck/shoulder surgery so am limited to about 55# max. My hunting bow is a DNA 55# bow and at 53# is about all I can manage.
Not sure, they are both real solid. I haven't put as much time into the Supra but it's by far the favorite... but for the price the Phenom is a sleeper! I want to get another Phenom eventually but will try the Supra as well. I switched to south paw but before had a Phenom and it was very solid out to 120 yards (couldn't move my sight anymore!). I imagine the Supra can be tweaked a little more with the flex guard... but if you have a shorter draw, the Mini Drive Cams on the Phenom SD are supposed to be fantastic... a lot of people frankenbow their Dominators with the Drive Cams.
Shoot them both, if you can't find much of a difference, I bet your wallet will pick the Phenom.
The max has the higher end riser with less lateral flex. As well as the upgraded limb pockets for no movement in the limbs. It is an very accurate bow. I love mine as well as my 2011 supra me. Both are great bows. The Max is more accurate at longer range though I have found. I shoot mine at 58lbs but the shoot excellent at all weights.
I have both. other than the ATA being a bit shorter I see very little difference between the two of them. I have the p set up for hunting and the S was my 3d/target bow. both set a 58 the S is a bit faster, but not that much. I think most people would be hard pressed to tell the difference between them.
Thanks guys to the responders, didn't get much feed back though, went with the Phenom SD.
Anyone else want to chime in?
