Archery related or no where near the archery industry Im curious how many hobbies some people have. I understand theres ways of breaking hobbies down into seasonal hobbies IE:summer fishing/ice fishing. As for me starting this thread some of my hobbies are hunting fishing and trapping, which take up most of my spare money. With that out there I have lots of money into toys to make my hobbies more enjoyable/doable. Having a four wheeler or 2, a snowmobile or 4, a boat or 2 and a motor home for the hobbies started to seem a little ridiculous but also makes things a lot more comfortable...
I hunt primarily, but I also play hockey and volleyball. Love it all. I like to fish, but I don't do it much anymore. I wanted to like golf, but I hate it more every time I play it. My nephew asked me last summer if he could borrow my clubs and I said under one condition, you never bring them back.
In the summer my hobby is a small fruit and berry orchard and gardening. Try to can as much as I can so the kiddos have healthy stuff to eat through the winter. The hobby I gave up was smoking cigars. That was the hobby that made all my other hobbies more fun. Now allot of them just seem like work. Used to love working in the garden with a cup of coffee and a cigar.
Mostly hunt ducks, deer and turkey, but I love rabbit and squirrel as well.
Hunting, fishing, trapping and everything that goes with those...also enjoy working in the yard/landscape/garden...and trying to avoid anything my wife wants me to do!
Hunting and fishing are hobbies? lol Besides those I like to play tabletop wargames, mainly WWII based like Bolt Action. I like to model, and paint miniatures, play guitar, and come up with idea's at random for things.
I use to play a lot of golf, but just haven't had the time for the last 5 years. I'm planning on purchasing a road bike in the next year, for exercise and an easier method for me to get to work. Other than that, archery, hunting and fishing make up my main hobbies.
Deer hunting is my hobby. The wife and I hammer the overtime during the summer, except for a couple of get aways. A week for us and the kids and a week for just us. I hate the heat of summer and really have nothing in the summer that I would like to do. So I just work as many shift in the air conditioning as I can so that when fall rolls around I can hunt as much as I want. I get about 50 to 60 days in the stand during deer season by working things this way. I guess when I am not hunting......working in this is my hobby.
I rifle hunt a lot, and go for waterfowl as much as I can, which is not enough. Reloading rifle cartridges and target shooting is a big one. Love shed hunting, fish quite a bit, mostly pike and walleye in lakes and rivers but most years I get a trip to the west coast for salmon and deep-sea stuff.
Recently got into snowmobiles, more the drag race style than mountains and deep powder.
Play with diesel trucks as much as I can afford to, which isn't a lot lately.
Only sport I play to any degree is hockey but it takes a hard back seat most of the time.
i hunt most everything i can, i fish a LOT, and i like to make gunstocks. its a hobby that i havent made any money on yet, but in the near future i see it becoming profitable. ive had offers to buy some of my work already, but its hard to part with anything ive made myself.

Mostly hunting and archery. When I'm not doing either of those I like to play some video games on the computer. I will be a dad in 3 months so that will change some things I bet lol.
oh it sure will...lol.. i have 3 ( 11 years old, 5 years old and 3 years old) and let me tell ya, it changes alot... and not for the bad either.. i actually did mind missing hunts, i loved being home with them... it's a love like you've never experienced before... all the best and congrats.. hope you post pics of your newest member of your family...
well, apart from hunting i don't have alot.. have 3 young kids so that eats up a ton of my time.. i do like to fish, ice fish, played volleyball, hockey. i do play golf from time to time... i love to go to the bush, anytime of the year.. i will scout, move sets, or sometimes just sit in my stand with a camera and hope for a good photo opportunity... but we spend alot of time at the parks with the kids, taking them swimming at the brother in laws place, stuff like that...
Mt bike - getting harder to do with my health
Golf - also hard to do with my health!
professional photographer-still enjoy my cameras on my free time too!
Hike with my wife, backpack deep into woods and then camp over night & fly fish in my favorite spot. Ended up in the hospital after this 2 day hike - to much stress on my body & MS struck. Can't wait to go again!
Garden-yep, love flowers and flowering shrubs and trees

Anything outdoors pretty much, fishing and crabbing mostly, also was big into guitar in my younger years, still play every now and then but not in the music scene like I used to be. Also had a jeep for a while but that got to be too expensive of a hobby, jeep got sold to buy a house. Does bud light count as a hobby lol
That's me on the right with the long hair
Also had a motorcycle for a while but that got sold too. Some of my hobbies have come and gone but fishing and hunting will always be a part of me...it's in my blood.
I'm into sports cars.
This last one will be arriving in Oct. Will be only the second delivered in south fla this year.
I also love endurance sports and working on the farm
You Sir are a true Artisan jaximus! That is one of the most beautiful stocks I have ever seen and if you aren't making money at it, it has to be by your own choice.
i play competitive golf in the spring/summer, huge hobby of mine, i also run a ton throughout the year....Im a DIY kind of guy for the house, thats one of my on going hobbies all year, and i fish occasionally, i wouldnt call it a hobby but more an enjoyment in the spring because i dont have enough time for fishing, but golf is my main hobby, i play in Local Pro events just for kicks and giggles to see if i can win....
Once the kids are asleep I try to squeeze in some video games and drinking bourbon. Used to hike and surf, now my kids have just sucked the life out of me
Those are some beautiful cars Maxemus! Fastest car I have had the pleasure of driving was an Audi R8, that was fun to drive.
Morel hunting in the spring, gardening and canning in the summer. I am a mycologist, mushroom grower, and I grow all sorts of gourmet edible mushrooms. I call turkeys for Wounded Warriors and find this has been the most rewarding thing I do all year.
