I have a Cartel triple 48 inch riser, that I bought on clearance. Can I use 54 inch limbs with this riser? Or do I have to stick with 48 inch limbs from Polaris? Thank you for your help.
The 48 inch Cartel Triple is a youth bow. I am not sure what the riser length is, but it is pretty short. I would not think that you would want to load this bow up with much weight. They come as 10, 15 and 20 pound bows. There are some folks that have taken Cartel risers and put Sage limbs on them. They call these Carsage bows. I think the practice is a bit suspect, but even more so with the 48 inch version which is a small kids bow.
What Hank said. My son used 48" polaris when he was 5. Now (8 years old) he is shooting 54" version. Unless you have very short hands (and I mean really short), there is no way adult can shoot that bow properly.
