Just bought a new bow and it come with 6 radial x weave stl hunter 300 arrows .....I was wondering what's everyone's thoughts on these, I'm just gonna hunt and shoot occasionally.
I been hunting with pse arrows for 2 years and have killed several bucks with em. I like em and they perform well. Seem very consistent from one arrow to another. I been using the Sniper 300s in skullworks and they are just fine.
Those radial x weave hunters are a very durable arrow, and shoot quite well. I still have some from a dozen I bought well over a year ago, and I shoot quite a bit. The stl hunter 300 is a .006 tolerance and about a 359 spine IIRC. Its hard to find the spine chart for these for some reason.
I shoot Radial X's in their various forms (STL Hunters, Ravens, and I just picked up a dozen Predators, which are an older branding of the current Bowmadness shafts.) I have zero complaints. They are a very tough, accurate arrow, and you can get them cheap if you know where to look.
eBay seems to be a good place to find them. The dozen Predator shafts (.003 straightness) I just received I paid $53 shipped. I've seen Carbon Force Pros (.001) for $80 a dozen, shipped and "buy it now"
I gave up on PSE arrows because of the goofy numbering system and lack of readily available spine info. Why they make it difficult I'll never understand. Love their bows, but that arrow system is a P.I.T.A.!
I've shot the X-weaves for 15 years, no problems, I shot the predators
