Any noise associated with the hyperglide? I had a roller type cable slide some years back, can't recall the name of it, but it "rattled" at the shot. Couldn't stand that!
I personally use the stock slides with low or no wear on my cables... I just use "string snot" string wax bout every 100 or so shots with much success on cable life/wear
Limbsaver Teflon slide for me. I was going to buy the Saunders but got scared off by some of the stories of them coming apart. 500 or so shots with my new 60X strings on my E32 and no wear whatsoever. I also like that there aren't any moving parts for cold snowy upstate NY hunts.
if you install a saunders do you need to adjust anything, I mean does it pull the cables in a direction that would need the slide rod adjusted or could it cause cam lean?
I just put a saunders hyperglide on mine. It did change my field point impact laterally. I adjusted my sights and it seems fine for field points out to 60. I think its going to need some extra tuning though.
When I put the Saunders on my Answer, I had to rotate the cable rod out a little to get vane clearance. It works great, and I have had it on for over a year now shooting 1000+ shots a month.
