Assuming you do not care about reducing weight, why switch from
a 4 or 5 inch plastic vane to a 2 inch blazer ?
Does the blazer stabalize better than a 4 inch vane ?
Well if you can steer an arrow just as well with less weight on the back, picking up speed is not the main thing. The mainthing is it improves FOC and that is vital to good broadhead flight:thumbs_up
A little less total arrow weight..steer an arrow as well but not really any better IMO. The only advantage I gained by using the Blazers is durability. The short, stiff little suckers seem nearly indestructible so far.
The biggest advantages are the ability to use more offset or helical without fletch contact on prong style rests ; and the unmatched durability compared to any other fletch when shot through a Whisker Biscuit rest.
The weight difference is a complete non-factor.IMO
