Brace height for a Ben Pearson Puma

    Hi!

It's been a while since I last posted here.

I just found a 40#@28" Ben Pearson Puma on German Ebay, unshot and in mint condition, according to the photos.

www.archeryarchives.com lists 1966 as the only year of production of this bow, but has no information about the brace height.

    Can anyone help me out?

    TIA,

    Cheers,
    Jörg

    Jorg -

I've never shot a BP Puma but most of their bows at that level and length did quite well in the 7.5" range. Remember, suggested brace heights are only that - "suggested". What you settle on will based on your particular bow, the arrows you're using and your shooting style.

    Viper1 out.

    Hi Viper!

Yup, I know that the manufacturers recommendations are just that, but I need a point to start with. Thanks for the info.

    Cheers,
    Jörg
