This Year I was after a buck we nicknamed Dynamo. This buck has been on our hit list for 3 years and we could never get a shot at him. We developed the TreeRat Tuxedo, this scent containment suit kept my scent contained in the suit and to my surprise the opening day of gun season Dynamo came walking in from down wind to give me a great shot and I finally got the job done!
Ok, since no ne else will ask, what in the world is a tree rat tux? And what does it cost. I only Ask since it appears to be a thinly veiled attempt to begin to develop interest and market it.
Well we Hunt in KY where the wind swirls all the time and couldn't find anything that kept our scent from getting to the deer. We tried everything but still wasn't seeing the big bucks we had on camera. Then we realized that you don't have to fool one nose but several noses before your going to be able to get a shot at that mature buck that comes out after all the deer are in the field. Right now we customize the suit for the consumer and it cost $350 for a jacket and the pants.
Good job! And nice shooting. Scent control is key.
