Just got this via email from a friend.
The following info is all I got and KNOW.
So just enjoy:teeth:

"This Elk was killed with a bow in the Selway-Bitterroot
Wilderness. He green scored 575" and should net out at about 530"
non typical. He has and unbelievable outside spread of 79".
This is the biggest bull ever taken with any weapon."

Hey elkman! Havn't seen or heard from you in a while...got your elk yet?
Yea, been pretty busy lately.
Early season was to HOT!
Didn't even see a deer unless you count the ones on the road at night on my way to use the phone:mg:
Did cross a river with a buddy and called in some cows but need her to come 5 more yds over the mound for a shot:(
oh well, Late season is always better.
Did get up on a cliff and saw a nice bull with the cows at about 1000 yds.
took a couple of pics I will post later.
How's your season going?

Isnt that on the elk ranch in Idaho where you pay like $1500 to shoot a cow and like $2000 for a 300 class bull and $3000 for a 350 bull and like $12000 for a 475 class bull? I went to the sportsmans show at the expo center and saw that elk on the cover of a fyler for the ranch.

That thing is a dandy. If I scored an Elk like that I certainly wouldn't be able to sit still for a picture.

:thumbs_do :thumbs_do Photoshop. Shadows on the hunters faces from the brim of their hats, but the antler on the right doesnt make a shadow.....i think not
How close are the brims of thier hats to thier faces? Like 6 inches. And how close is that antler to the ground? Like 2 feet. And the suns not even shining bright enough for the antler to cast a dark enough shadow for us to see on the computer.

I've seen the picture already this year with a different story. It may be real, or it may be a photoshop work of art.

It could be a world record free ranging animal, or it could be a pen raised elk killed behind a high fence.

I have seen other mention of it being photoshopped on another website. I always take a wait and see attitude when these things pop up.

One place it isn't showing up is on the B&C Trophy Watch. I know, I know, that means very little. It just seems a little suspect that it's making the internet rounds with multiple stories.

Wait and see... wait and see...
