    nock sets

Here is my question to all finger shooters that shoot with two fingers under.

how do you set up your nock sets?

Jeff that is the way I tied mine when I shot 2 fingers and my nocking point was 5/16 above. The only difference is I tried to keep them closer and almost touching the arrow. This stopped the arrow from running the string. When I started shooting with one finger I use the same setup but set it with the bottom of the arrow kicked way up. The reason is you are pulling from the bottom and it kicks your tail up after you draw.It will paper tune then and fly straight.

    Nock sets

Jeff, that looks about the same as the way I do mine and I beleve that with the angle of the string the spacing is needed so each nock touches or almost touches at full draw and also keeps the arrow from running the string (some thing I have said for years and people would look at me like I was sick) Lfutral stated this in his thread, Great minds do think alike!!!!

I use a single nock set above the arrow, and my tab pushes the arrow against it.

Would it be better to use 2 nock sets? Slide the tab just to the point where it touches the lower one?
Unbelievable! every time I shoot, the X moves!

Nothing wrong with your set up.

However I always nock under the top nocking point or even use just one.

The reason for this is arrows seem to slide up the string easier than down and I find this method more consistant.

    nock sets

thanks for input. just seeing how other guys do it.
This is the way i have always used when shooting 2 under.
Last summer with g nocks they dd not fit string tight so it tuned best with nocking under nock set and no bottom nock. I belive the end result matters more. With my hunitng bow with xt2000 limbs protec i have to use just top nock set to get it to tune with broadheads beman ics arrows and super nocks. What i have noticed with the cam 1/2 is it seem to have a slight upward nock travel. the set up in the picture to get bare shaft to shoot the bottom nock is on dead 90. Like archer nm said top nock comes down and touches top of nock.

lfurtal the one great finger shooter in mn had to quit and go to hook from shooting only one finger easy way to damage nerves. Can't complain about your results though. he shot 50-55x 300's regulary.

Shooting one over and one under I use two brass nocks and trim the tab gap to fit the brass nock lock the tab in place I use ththicker spacer to match the larger gap.

My setup is very similar to yours Jeff, except that I have about a 1/16" space below the nock and bottom nockset. I'm wondering if this is too close? I don't have any tuning issues, but just wondering after reading everyone's post if that might be too close.

    Nock Sets

I dont think you want them to pinch the nock when at full draw just to hold it and control it.

    Thanks Jeff!
I'm thinking that I need to be doing some testing on this and see if there is a improvement.
