    platinum plus for a third the price of acc's . probably about one archer in a hundred could tell the slight difference in tolerances .

    I hunt and shoot 3-D with ACC 3-39 cut at 29" with 2' blazers followed by spitfire 100gr and they are awesome.
    As for the hunting I have killed about 15 deer with these, and the last 5 with the same arrow and never had it bend.

    Easton makes so many great arrows that can be used for multiple applications. If you're looking for a combination I'd agree ACC is about as good as you can get, but it's pretty expensive. The old faithful XX78 is an awefully good choice, you can get a light arrow, mid-weight or a heavy arrow that will spine and shoot well, with just about any setup.

    I love the A/C/C's but they are a little pricey.
    05 Hoyt V-Tec, carolina foxfire sight, 11.5" Doinker A-Bomb, 27" at 65lbs. 85 gr Montecs, Gold Tip Pro 5575 on a WB rest. .
    2006 Hoyt UltraTec, 27" at 61lbs. CXL2 150's, 85 gr. nibbs, Spott-Hogg Hogg-It, Ripcord, G-5 meta peep. 277 fps.
