1 bearded or male turkey in the Spring

1 either sex in the Fall

You have to buy seperate tags for Spring and Fall.

I think you should have to draw a either sex tag in Michigan for fall or be able to purchase a Tom only tag. We have enough birds, we should be able to hunt them. I like the fall permit, I combine the hunt with fall scouting, and bow season.

Talking How legal do you want to be ?

Just kidding, but last Feb. I videoed 25 full beared gobblers and had my shot gun and bow in the blind. I was hunting a bobcat or coyote, but it sure was tempting to take a shot. Just would have been no fun. The fun is in the chase or the gobbling to work to get the bird. I usually video the birds for several minutes when I am hunting and if I do not get a shot that is ok. I have killed several but stil get excited. The kids sure like the videos.

One tag for one turkey for the initial drawing. Then after the drawing results you can buy 1 tag per day until they are all sold.

    Idaho

allows 2 per year, during spring (tom only) and fall (either sex). First tag is $19, second $12, which seems steep to me.

6 overall the spring birds have to have a visible beard, but the bow and gun fall tags can be whatever you choose.
