I have tried several and always go back to the simple $8.00 Neet smooth leather tab. Definitely a personal preference, I keep several laying around so there is always one handy. I also like to flip it up on top of my hand while writing, pulling arrows, etc.

Batemen is very good...would suggest them to anyone.

I use a Black widow as my regular shooter for hunting/barebow stuff...can't find the Batemen I used to have.

For target (Oly) style shooting I have an AAE Elite or KSL brass tab (my favorite).

As said, it's all personal preference. Buy a few and see which one you like.

of course you could always just make your own

Tabs being a personal choice effect tune and arrow spine. So I stick with the Black Widow Super leather most of the time. I know its a mental thing. The feel of the tab is confidence boosting for me.

http://www.lancasterarchery.com/blac...r-leather.html There is a model with a shelf and 3 under design as well. After a year my failure to enjoy an AAE, playing with other leathers in it. I started shooting better when I went back to Black Widow. I know I prefer to shoot without a block between my fingers. Thinking of getting a top end shooting glove to Stringwalk a recurve with.
