Ordered a 5 arrow tight spot but I also have a 3 arrow Mathews quiver which do you guys like better as far as arrow size? Also this is my first tightspot quiver how do you guys like them?
I've been using a 5 arrow tight spot for a few years now and its been great. No foam in the hood, holds arrows tight no matter what size shafts (adjustable), holds arrows close to the bow, and the clamp is quiet and solid.
I prefer a 5 arrow Mathews quiver( actually tree limb, now that I don't shoot my Mathews bows , but they are very similar. And my Mathews bows still all have Mathews quivers on them) they are more compact ,easy to remove, no noise, don't mount to my sight, and very light weight. A lot of guys like the tite spot but I did not care for it at all, sold it right after trying it the first time. As did my two sons.
I haven't checked out their site lately.......I didn't know they were making a 7.......that's a lot of arrows to carry, what kind of hunting are you doing?
if you think the 5 ounces it's going to save you is going to make a significant difference in your hunting/shooting ability then go for it but i would rather have the extra arrows. if you live in a place where you can shoot more than 1 deer a day 5 arrows is a no brainer.
I prefer a 5 arrow quiver loaded with 3 arrows. I put them in the 1-3-5 slots to give a little extra room for my hands when reaching for a reload. It also allows a little extra room for broadheads.
The more the merrier. I just got a 5 arrow dual grip treelimb quiver. Arrows wouldn't move in a tornado but yet are easy to remove. I carry different broad heads and at least 1 small game arrow
I bought a Tightspot when they first came out. Been moving it from bow to bow. Bought a new Halon 32 this year but I'm thinking of picking up the 3 arrow quiver since I never need five arrows. Treestand whitetails with the occasional unlucky coyote that comes by.
Usually 2 or 3 broadheads and 2 small game heads. I love shooting squirrels as they scamper past.
