    Picture update for basinboy

I told you I was building it!! LOL. She's coming out great! The wood combo is awesome looking. the riser is magnum dymondwood while the limbs are charcoal grey actionwood with bamboo cores. The specs are 64" 50# 26" just perfect with the shaping I have left to do. I hope you like it Corey.
    Thx Bill

I love the Magnum Dymondwood and those Camo limbs look sweet too. I desperately want another Zona in Grey Actionwood everything. Someday my dreams will come true but for now I will continue to shoot the ones I have. Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday season and have a Happy New year. Skippy

I'm really proud of this bow. It is turning out so nice looking and she is a shooter!!! I can't wait to add the finish! My Daughter loves this one too, she asked to model it. She said; Daddy I want to do one with you in it so here is her pic of me with the bow. God I'm getting fatter and fatter with every passing minute!! LOL!!

Basinboy, wait until Bill gets the finish on it. The colors will pop out of the wood just like my Magnum Dymondwood did. Can't wait to see yours all done. Brad

Well guys, add me to the list. I've taken the plunge and ordered a custom Zona takedown recurve from Bill. It's been an awesome experience so far, and all I've done to date is place my order. Bill is incredibly helpful, and very quick to respond to my countless questions. I'm really looking forward to hunting with my new bow.

    Thanks,

    Ron Meloni

    My next Longbow for Archerlog

Hey Mike here is the riser I have come up with. It is the bloodwood and curlymaple combo, for the accents I alternated the woods. What do you think so far?
    Thx Bill

Now that bloodwood and curlymaple combo riser along with bocote limbs---now THAT ought to look AWESOME! Never really paid much attention to this thread, but now I am curious as to the end result!

    Note about new orders

I have a bunch of bows on order and I make them on a first come first serve basis, I will still take orders but can't promise a turn around time right now. I just got word that I will be going over the road in two weeks and will be gone for a week or more at a time. To those who have their order in I will do my best to get your bow completed in the time frame I quoted you. I will have a better idea of how it will work for future orders on turn around time when I start my new position. Here is the order I have right now:
    1) Skip Nelson ( I had more time to build this bow but with the job change I need to get this bow done, it is my number one priority.) on time
    2) Coty Malone
    3) Cutt'em jack
    4) Archer109
    5) Russ Holton
    6) Shortstroke91
    7) Ron Meloni
    8) Ben Quick
    9) Everett Joe
I also have two trades going these too will be done in a timely manner.
Most of these bows are already being built and two of them are almost completed.
My new job is kinda like being a tow truck driver for my company. I will have to travel all 48 states to recover our broken down trucks and bring them back to the Phoenix terminal for repairs. I will be home weekly and I will have time to work on the bows but until I see how it goes I need to slow down on new orders.
I hope you can all understand I need this job to provide for my family. I love making the bows for you and I hope to continue to provide the best bows I can make for you in the future.
    Thx Bill

    Very nice looking!

Awesome combo! It always amazes me how a bow changes when it's sprayed.

Well, I know it took me a little longer to get one on film with my new long bow than it did with my recurve, But here it is!
Not the best shot but I was able to track him down and finish the deal!
