The equipment was good, the atmosphere was fantastic and the way we were treated was phenomenal. Even the other customers that were in there made us feel welcome and right at home.

I was impressed not only in how we were received, but the overall impression of the place was great. The store was tidy and well organized. The decor throughout the store was warm and interesting. Just hanging out in the range was cool. There was comfortable seating (how do you top a rocking chair, honestly?) and it was fun watching the archers shoot.

It was a great experience, though just a little far to travel. We will check out other places closer, now that we have a taste. You can be rest assured, though, we will return to Archery Outpost because it really was that cool. Highly recommended.

    Thanks, gvid200!

    Hello!

I'm new to this wonderful sport/hobby and have really gotten hooked! Always wanted to try it but never got the chance until recently and the moment I fired a compound for the first time it was over.

Now I have a question: I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the Yolo Bowmen Club of Davis, CA? We've been shooting on this range and love it so we'd like to join the club but the website is now down as well as their email. Any info would be appreciated!

Looking forward to reading and learning more here!

Yeah, tons of great info on here.

If you ever make it down into SLO county we have some fun stuff to shoot at. The SLO Sportsmen's Association has a nice range with standard and 3D targets and on the 3rd Sunday of the month there is a 14 target walking course which is pretty fun.

Hello all. Newer Bowmen here looking to connect with local archers. Located in Brentwood in the East Bay Area. If anyone has range or shop suggestions for this area I'd be happy to listen!

    Hey Gooch,
They're on the other side of the bay from you but Kings Mountain Archers and SF Archers are outdoor ranges both with walking courses. Not sure what's on your side of the bay but there are lots of resources on the web. Welcome aboard. =)

Thanks for the reply Robbj! Ya I have been browsing the search engines but there is nothing like a good recommendation from someone who has already been! Appreciate the warm welcome looking forward to learning from you all.

Hey jeffro. Where are you shootin' at?
I'm mostly at SLO Sportsman's Association and Central Coast Archery. Looking forward to getting into a competition too - mostly for fun. The Chamberlin Shoot down in Los Olivos is coming up in April, I've been told it's a great time.

From WI working in Tulare a lot past year. Are there any ranges or pro shops closer than Fresno.? That's the closest place the people at the plant know of.
    Thanks

I belong to Maya Archers in Roseville, CA, and go to as many club shoots as possible. I also participate in the USPFC and WPFG. Maya is holding our "Around the World Shoot", April 19th. 42-3D marked life size animals. Come have a great day shooting.
