Male Compound Jr USAT team, All Cadets last year!

Congratulations to the 2008 Junior Male Compound Jr. USAT team. All six members of this year's team (six because of a tie for 5th place) were in the Cadet Division last year, and this was their first year in the older Junior Division.

    1. Josh Miller, CA
    2. Levi Cyr, MA
    3. Adam Gallant, MA
    4. Corey Muellenbach, MN
    5. Harrison Keller, MI
    6. Adam Wruck,MN

Add Cory Monahan, NY and Shaun Larson, UT and maybe a couple of this year's Cadets to this list and it sets up a pretty good competition for next year's 3-person Jr. World Team.

I'm just wondering, why did the NAA not use their own guidelines on breaking the tie. Correct this if its wrong, doesn't the JOAD Fita determine the winner in the event of a tie?

I am glad to see they expanded the team in this case of a tie. It is hard enough to make one of these teams and to tell a young person "no" after coming so close and actually tieing. I don't see any downside to this.

I agree with Tom. Based on the qualifications needed to make the team, the two boys tied, and therefore deserve to be treated the same. It just wouldn't have seemed fair to have one disqualified based on a technicality. Harrison beat Adam in the JOAD nationals qualifier, but Adam beat Harrison by same amount in the OR. They couldn't be any closer.

No one is hurt by this decision to add both boys. I see it for a win/win for the boys, the NAA and archery in general!
