    Hoyt Lazertec Draw Weight Adjustment

The manual points out where the weight adjustment bolts are and the other bolts that might need to be backed out to make the adjustment. But it doesn't say how to go about adjusting the weight. I am currently set at approx 64lbs and my limbs are 60-70. I want to get it closer to 70lb limit how do i go about makeing the adjustment

I've watched my brother do it many times.

    From the Hoyt Manual

    DRAW WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Weight adjustments can easily be made by turning the weight adjustment bolt clockwise to increase weight or counter clockwise to decrease weight. Note: Always turn the top and bottom adjustment bolts in equal amounts. Some Hoyt model bows are equipped with a Dual Locking Pocket System. Before draw weight adjustments are made on these models you must first loosen the pocket locking screws located on both sides of the pocket. (Fig 10) When adjustments are complete, re-tighten screws.

To increase your draw weight, turn the weight adjustment bolt clockwise, evenly for each limb. 70# pounds on a 60-70# bow will be all the way down. Then re-tighten the pocket locking screws, if you have them.

There is a good bow picture on page 3 here:
