I don't shoot bow brands . . . only bows. Don't care what the limb says really. I don't plan on buying anything new for '08 but then . . . I never plan on buying a new one . . . they just wind up coming home with me.

I continue with my Apa Black Mamba X1. Might buy me another bow for backup, but haven't decided which one (perhaps another Apa).

I voted undecided because everyone hasn't released all of their bows. if nothing more specatcular tham what has already been released comes out, i'll more than likely put a new set of Barnesdale limbs on the Dually and send it to Crackers and keep killin stuff with it.

Probably still the bows I am shooting now, but you never know. I have come quite fond of buying my limbs pre-split. So that narrows it down a little bit.

Thumbs up Merlin

This year I got rid of a PSE, Oneida BE and my Mathews but added a Darton AS100 and kept my Merlin. The Merlin is still my favorite, and if anything I would probably get another one or try an APA Black Mamba.

I'll be either shooting a new Hoyt, Elite, or High Country. If I dont like any of them I'll just keep shooting my Vulcan. The 3 companies are going to have to come up with something pretty impressive though for me to change. I love my Vulcan so its going to be hard to get ride of it and get something new.

After changing over from Mathews to Elite in 07 I may not need a new bow for some time but it looks like Elite will be having an excellent lineup for 08 so who knows. These bows are so well made that I'll stay with them until someone comes up with something better. Of course that's only my opinion and that's what is great about archery. There is a manufacturer that makes a bow for somebody's liking and mine just happens to be Elite.

I have not seen anything that makes me wan't to replace Frankenbow. I could not be happier with the bow. Now, get the split riser, with the speeds of the 81st, then we will talk.

As of now at this present time,it looks as if the 2008 Bowtech General will join the bow collection here!I'm sure I'll add atleast 2 bows to my collection in 08 considering I did so with 4 new ones this year(there was not room to put the 07 Firestorm X in my signature line)

The reports thus far on the 08 General are A+++

Probably a mix of High Country, Mathews, and PSE with a Mission thrown in there for good measure.

I wouldn't mind trying a Hoyt, Ross, Bowtech, and Elite too.

I will still shoot my old Browning some also.

BTW, I voted for all those listed in this post, because I hope to shoot them all next year some time or another.

My new Vulcan!

I hope to be hunting with my Vulcan I got on here last week. Never owned a Hoyt until I go this one. Tuned it Thursday and Friday and killed my biggest bow buck ever with it Saturday. Very fast and a sweet shooter.
