Does the AT member influence your choice to open??

So how many of you fine men and women of the bowhunting world will utilize a little "selective choosing" when you are going to read a thread?

Ya know, maybe you look at who is posting and then decide whether you are going to open the thread or not? (including mine)

I know, personally, I always look to see who has posted the thread before I open it. I am also guilty of assuming what is going to be said before I even open it too. Some members I think "I gotta see what this guy said this time..." others I think, "I am not even wasting my time!"

    Well?

I definitely do that! I really wish the entire internet was that way!

    Amen to that.

I look at the topic, then run the mouse over it, read a little bit, and if it interests me I check it out.

I could care less who posts what.

Same here (except that I do not open some threads based on combination of OP, Title and what the text says). I use AT as the status quo, I get irritated if I can't see the text on other forums. Well design web page!

I'm willing to read any post if it looks interesting regardless of who posted it.
Even a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes. (Translation: Even some of the d-bags on here can have a decent thought occasionally)

I kid, I kid. I love you all...except the 3 that Q!! referred to on another thread that he doesn't like either. I'm still kidding, I'm probably one of those three.

I don't think I ignore a post just because of the poster.
I will admit that there are some people that entertain me more than others and I probably open their threads before someone elses.

I do the same,....but it does not matter to me WHO started the thread.
There are some members who I tend to have the same ideals as but I drag the mouse over the link to get the "meat" of the thread before I decide if I'll be jumpping in.

    Ditto;
I can usually tell which threads are stirring the pot or BS and which are not. I just ignore the pot stirring and if the post is interesting, I read the whole thing before I post.
There's a fine line between hunting and sitting in a tree looking stupid.

I usually go with the 1,2,3,4 process.

    1. Look for intersting topic

    2. Arrow it to read first sentence or so.

    3. Look at Bozo er, I mean fellow AT'er that started thread.

    4. Jump in and flame on!
