HELP PLEASE ! Installing string & Cable on Jennings Uniforce
Guys I need some help ! I got a freind that has brought me a Jennings Uniforce XLR to put string and cables on ! He got it out of the case and the string was broke, and cable strands were frayed ! Kinda got me wondering if it had been dry fired, but he says no ??? I got the string and cable in and installed them without having much to go by being the string was broke, I did the best I could putting them on, and what I thought was the right way from my experience.
The problem I am running into is the buss cable is rubbing the inside of the limb down towards the cam, like it is to far over to the right, or the cable is coming off the cam to far forward. (Rubbing the right side of the limb were the limb seperates or the limb forks ?? for the the cam) Is the cam bent, or limb twisted ??? and how can I tell ??? looking at the cam it seems the string, and cable are not sitting well in the grooves, and they all look to be coming off towards the right of the cam.
I have attached pics of the cam, and how I have the string and cable ran, also I contacted Jennings to find out the specs, and they had none in there database for this bow ??? he said he thought the ATA was 41 ??? who knows, So I dont have much to go by here, just kinda winging it !!
Please help if you can ???

its hard to say without looking at it,but does it have a cable slide where the slots are ofset? If so make sure the cable is in the correct slot. Also the cable rod may be to far over.If you can get by with moving it and not having any fletching contact you can try that also. Also how about a pic of the entire bow if possible.

thanks for the reply ! I have tried that with the cable guard even if I move the cable guard over so it's not putting any pressure on the string and cable, the cable still is extremly close to the limb

Are you sure the string and cable are the correct length? I also noticed the adjustment holes for the post for the bus cable. I appears that it has been let out or lengthened which will affect the distance between the limb and the cable.
