They now make an 1198 in all pearl white. I just think the 848's black accents on the lowers set it off. Of course, the red and yellow bikes are killer also. Pictures just never do a Duc justice.

    Tail of the Dragon

    Sanka,

Were you at Deal's Gap REAL EARLY in the morning and the middle of the week? When my wife, brother, sister in law and I went down it (June of 08 about 10:00 on a Monday) it was already pretty busy and by the time we finished looking around in the shop and kicking tires outside the parking lot was full. We had bikes pass us coming up with their knees dragging and sparks flying!!!

Did you get to stop at the museum in Maggie Valley?? It was a Harley lovers paradise. I think they're moving the museum somewhere in Arizona. It was called something like "Wheels thru Time" or something like that.

    Great riding down there.

My ninja was a 98 had it forever with no problems ever, just lots of tires gas and oil.....great bike!!! I traded it in for a new gsxr in 07, bike was very light and quick, but not as nice to ride in the city so I sold it. Whats next??? Maybe a cruiser....maybe another rocket.....
