No Jeff or Chris, what a day that could have been. Top three scores were Lynn hoch 682, Bill Hakl 681 and Jim Hutchinson 679. Outstanding shooting guys

Nice to meet you as well Lea! We made it home safe and sound, roads were great. Good luck with the subscriptions and I'll probably see you in Vegas!

Jayhawk - ALL those pictures and none of me?! You were close, I was right next to Jessica Heeg and Darrin C. but both you and AT X Hunter didn't feel I was worthy I guess! Anyway, nice to meet you too! Hope to see you around again sometime!

    What an awesome time

Not Hijacking Jayhawk just wanted to throw in some pics and reports. Great meeting you btw. I am tired as all get out. Shot Sat and Sun, ran 9:30 Sat line and worked Copper John Stan booth most of the day both days. It was great to put a lot of faces to the name. Some really great people in the archery world.
Pics, in order: Duane and Chance shooting the breeze, Steve Boylan aka. Dead X with another victory in the senior Pro division, Jayhawk, Jake Brock and Shelby Waggoner, philip Tucker accepting his trophy in Young Adult Male Freestyle (the big boys better look out, Phil shot lights out, watch your backs boys) and lastly, The Hammer and his mini me protege' the Mallet.

    This is really something!
Steve Boylan was 5 points down going into day 2!
He was down a few points at the Presley's shoot as well, but hung in there, shot HIS game and pulled out that victory at Presley's.

Now he turns right around and does it again at Iowa!

This is 5 in a row for Steve now? He won all three of the "big events" last year (the only person to win Vegas, NFAA Indoor Nationals, and the Stan open ALL in one season!).
Now he starts off this indoor season with big wins at Presley's and the Iowa Pro-Am.

    Way to go Steve!

Marcus is an exceptional individual! He shot on the same bale as one of my boys the second round, so I had the Pleasure of conversing with him. He will do well in the future.

Were they shooting a standard five spot round?

  15. #140
Not exactly the "standard round". We use the NFAA face but X ring the scores as 6 points on the first day of shooting. The second day is the with the Vegas face and the X rings scores as 11 points.
