    National archery supply

    has anyone ordered from National Archery Supply and if so did you have any problems? I want to order from them but my buddy is having trouble with an order and I was wondering if he is full of it and is talking trash cause he's mad or what?

    If I were you, I'd do a search on here. You'll find quite a few who aren't too happy with the service they've received.

    Heard lately nothing but bad things on them orders not beeing sent all on back orders ect. Check them by search hopefully they have changed

    contrary to a lot of others on here, i've had pretty good experience the couple of times that i've dealt with them. i got my equipment with two weeks of placing the orders.

    Hey Thunderbolt,

    All those many threads you are thinking of by all those clients that have had problems with National Archery Supply have been removed from this forum. Strange eh!!!! Someone has a lot of pull. I guess voicing a complaint about NAS and keeping archived as a message to others of NAS's customer service is a no no.

    threads can be and are pulled for a number of reasons ..... your implication that NAS pressured the Canadian Moderators (Pierre and myself) to pull or remove a thread is far from the truth, so please put that thought to rest.

    I cancelled the order today threw email. I hope that my money is refunded easily. This will be one hell of a fight. I will take legal action if nessesary. Even if that means putting more money out. This company needs to be put down for good!

    I'd try to get ahead of the curve and dispute it with your credit card company now. You know it's likely going to come to that anyway...

    You will get your refund but true to thier operating practices it will take awhile...took a month and half after I cancelled my order!

    Hoody, Im going to today. Hopefully the credit card company helps out. Im not sure how they deal with things like this. I never had to do it before. Hopefully my card company takes prompt action.

    The only thread I remember being pulled, was the deal about the URL thing. That one was pulled at the request of the original poster who was not a staff of NAS.

    As for folks having issues with NAS on orders, it appears to be hit and miss. I've had some really good service from them on one order and some little issues on one other order.

    Thumbs down Guess I should have read thisa thread first!!

    I placed an order through NAS a quite a while ago, online. They give you a tracking number, but three weeks later it still indicates "waiting to be shipped". Phones apparently do not work, I have place over 10 calls trying to get some sort of an answer. 12 emails with no answer either. I guess customer service is not on their must do list.

    The phone thing is true .... but they are in a different timezone also! i tried caling them all week and no answer but last week Collin answered me. Jason is not always in the shop but someone is usually there! i would just keep caling they will answer eventually =)

    When they don't answer its usually because there is some sort of trade show or shoot.. i have to agree with all your posts about bad service and not answering emails but if you placed an order just keep putting the presure

    Small advice for those who WILL be ordering, if you call there make sure they HAVE it in stock in the store otherwise go straight to lancaster or another source!

    I'm sorry but I should be able to contact someone during their regular working hours. No pressure should be required. They can't sell if they don't pickup the phone.....and If I had to put pressure on them to put in my order in the first place, what kind of service will I receive it I'm not satisfied with my order

    Try calling Lancaster and you'll see what I'm talking about

    Yeh i understand what ur saying and totally agree! i just cant blast them because every time i have called there to order something they answered!

    i rarely order online or over the phone since i prefer to have it in my hands.

    but sure i have to agree that there service level is not top notch

    inappropriate language for this forum- Frenchy Lancaster rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrocks!

    I was just going to start a warning thread about this company. I ordered the sword twighlight hunter from them 2 months ago with a promise of it being 2 weeks, needless to say it never came and they are crediting back my credit card. After contacting sword they told me they could build my sight and send it out the same day. So I cancelled my order with NAS and ordered direct from sword. I gotta say the people at sword are AWESOME!!!!!!! I should be receiving my sight before the end of the week!!!!!!

    i've reserved my comments until now to see how it turned out,and in the end I'm not too dissapointed at all with NAS.

    I ordered a WC string,broadheads and a peep from NAS on September 3rd,and coincidentally found this topic a couple days later which made me kinda nervous.Received my order Oct.20th.The string was the hold-up as it had to be custom ordered from WC which is understandable.After reading this topic I was in contact with NAS several times to check on the status.They seem to be impossible to get on the phone,but Colin answered all my e-mails promptly(within 24 hours) and kept me up-dated on the progress.The string actually took a little longer than it was supposed to and I ended up getting one made locally to get me out for the deer opener Oct.5th, but I'll take some of the responsibility of procrastinating until September to get geared up for the season.

    Overall,I'm satisfied and will use them again,though I would probably check the availability/in-stock status beforehand if it's something I need right away?BTW,my G5 Montecs fly like field points...LUV'em...let the bleeding begin....NO MORE MECHANICAL JUNK FOR ME!!!!!I'm ordering 3 more hunting heads plus the 3 pack of practice heads.......from National.

    The IN THING??????????? The last thing I want to do is bad mouth a company!!!! But when fraudulant activity is being done and 1000's of people are being affected by it. I feel its the right thing to do. Is warn other people that this is a bad rap!!! I would almost guarantee if you searhed most of these people post, you would not find them bashing others.

    What can I do now....

    yes, I am one of the stupid people who did not read reviews before ordering from NAS. I placed an order on 12/7/09 for my son-in-law's Christmas present. I emailed on 12/18/09 and another email after that with still no response. No one answers the phone and I dont know what to do next.

    I ordered around the end of Nov. and have sent two emails with no response, but they did manage to charge my credit card. I guess this is the first and last order from them and just a $140 education, should have stuck with Lancasters.

    I placed an order 6 weeks ago. No answer on phone. yada, yada. Sent a nastygram email and got the run-around that it will ship by the end of the week. Two more weeks later, just called VISA and had them reverse the charges. Problem solved & lesson learned.

    My axe to grind with NAS is they charge your credit card right away. Months go by and no communication, etc. NAS has got to be floating his money/bills with our money on unfulfilled orders. Where I come from, this is called stealing! Borrowing people money and stalling is the oldest trick in the book!

    I placed an order 2 weeks ago. Never thought to research here. I sent them a PM today. Very similar story, no replies to 3 emails. No update on their internet link on order status. I can see where this is heading.
