    what year a hoyt bow is made

    a friend of mine is trying to sell another friend a hoyt megatec. now one knows the year it was made. can we tell by the serial number? the bow is a hoyt megatec xt2000. i'm a mathews man so i really dont know much about hoyts except they are really well made nowadays.

    Mathews ZXT, Easton da torch, Tronjo Grip, Spothogg hogg it, Bestinger.

    easy ,if it's a single cam it was made before 2003. 2003 was the first year for the cam&1/2 .In 2004 they came out with the ultramag ,basically the same bow with a name.hope this helps
