Anyone have any info on a bear mini magnum compound bow all I know is it about 30 years old and it has a silver Coin Medallion the white riser with a hand writen serial number mm-268391
I got one for Christmas and don't know that much about it ether. I know it was made in the 70's. But that's about It. I would like to know more about it as well.
Wow "A blast from the past"
I believe the white colored mini magnums were built in 1980 or 1981.
I got one of these for Christmas in 1980 or 1981 (I think???) when I outgrew it I got the next bigger bow from the same era, it has a blue riser called "Denim" (I still have this bow). My dad bought it for me in 1983 from left over new stock, and I remember the instructions coming with a 1981 catalog. Its funny now, but at the time I couldn't figure out why a brand new bow would come with 2 year old instruction.
Bear Mini Mag was simply a entry level youth compound bow. Today the risers are sought after for conversion to recurve otherwise known as a “warf” recurve.
i had one, back in the late 70’s. My first major purchase from a paper route. (“You see kids, back before the internet…”).
I wish a still had it, I shot the crap out of that thing.
