How long should my arrows be?

I have an 07 Guardian with the 29 inch mods installed maxed out at 60 pounds.

I have some 30 inch arrows, so I put some masking tape on one of them and had the front of the shelf and my rest marked when I was at full draw.

It was 29 inches to the front of the shelf and 26 3/8 to the Limbdriver.

If I am going to shoot mechanical broadheads and field points, what would a good arrow length be for my setup?

I have a 30" draw with a limbdriver and I have mine cut to 28 which is about the middle of the shelf. Just make sure that you are still spined correctly if you cut them down.

I usually get my arrows cut a inch shorter than my draw length but thats just my preference. If getting your arrows spined correctly for you set up is a big deal to you your length might change, some arrows might need to be a little longer or a little shorter than other brands of arrows. But like I said above my arrows are a inch shorter than my d/l. So there for I find arrows that I can cut to that lenght and then see if they are spined perfectly for me. If they aren't I'll try a few diffrent things and if adding or removing weight doesnt work I'll look for another arrow. I like my arrows to all be 28".

Couple ways to look at it.
If you limit yourself to a particular shaft, your best bet is to cut it to give you optimal spine (considering all components).
Or you can cut it to a length and adjust your components to get optimal spine.

If you want to choose a length up front, then select a shaft that gets your spine in.

Up front not knowing either, you need to compromise and get a starting point. I'll usually pick a length at my DL, or up to an inch less. Then use advanced selection charts like OnTarget and play with scenerios to decide on the rest. Remember, you can always cut more off but cannot add.
