    Best smoothest bow for hunting??

I ws wondering what is the smoothest bow for hunting. I have a Hoyt Vulcan now great bow its a 60-70 but have it turned down to 60 because my shoulder is giving me fits. ( work is hard on both of my arms) anyway is there any bows that are a dream to draw and shoot fairly quick? I have a 30 in draw So I can get alot out of most bows. Like the looks of the Onieda's but really don't like the price on those bows. Just trying to look ahead for my next bow is all thanks.

I shoot a Parker Trailblazer XP and I really like it alot. There's not a lot of talk about Parker's on here but they are extremely smooth. They may not be the fastest bows out there but the draw is smooth, they're quiet and they have a lifetime warranty along with great customer service. I've had good success with mine and I honestly wouldn't trade it for any other bow on the market today.

go to your local pro shop and try out a few bows and see for yourself some may be smooth for some but not for others.

    i agree ,

smooth and easy drawing are not the same thing, they aint even cousins,,, you need an easy drawing bow look at martins, quest are sweet too, elites are a little harder being a twin cam but they are smooth

the katera is very smooth, but aint a bad shoulder bow

Hate to say it but im with the Boar...lol. In all seriousness when I was only shooting 60lbs. earlier this year, for turkey season always turn bow down for them and its begining of season so building the archery muscles back up, I was hunting with my buddy who has a SBXT set at 70lbs. and I drew it back not realizing this and I said to him " what the hell ya got this thing set to 40lbs." he laughed told me 70lbs and I claimed shinnanigans...I lost a 12 pack on that deal...lol. They are silky smooth, super accurate, good enough speed for hunting, reasonably priced NOW, and at the top of my list for best hunting bows of all time.

I have an 05 Switchback that i retired a couple of years ago.

Had a friend that is becoming interested in Archery, so i set it up for him last weekend, dialed it in and let him borrow it for the season.

As i set it up and shot it, i was amazed at how smooth and accurate that bow is. I knew that, but i haven't shot it in years, so the memory faded i guess.

I guess it amazed him too, because he called my up wanting to buy it, and i told him no way.

I really liked the switchback, alphamax and Z28. Those three bows meet your criteria.

The smoothest brings 3 bows to mind

    1) Diamond Black Ice
    2) Mathews SBXT
    3) Mathews Drenalin

All 3 are silky smooth and pull back with ease on one of those cold November mornings.

Find a pro shop with a bunch of different bows and shoot them and let yourself find out which actually feels good. Everyone opinion won't help. And as far as poundage goes. It is best to shoot a bow near it's max draw weight. So, if you shoot 60lbs. purchase a 50-60lb bow and max it out instead of backing a 70# bow way out. Best of luck.

The 3 smoothest drawing bow's I've ever had (in order of smoothness)
    1. 07 Ross Cardiac
    2. Bowtech Guardian
    3. Mathews Switchback XT

I still have the Ross and am now looking for a back-up.
