Sorry to hear that Dave...cause when no one else in the country had the cams I was lookin for you were my hookup!

I gave your name out freely to many looking for the same kinda stuff, not sure if it helped ya any or not.

Good luck in your future adventures in life and archery. I am sure you will not be without work for very long! Cause even when the Hoyt "experts" had no clue...you did!

Dave,

You were one of the reasons I would stop in Jays in my travels to Big Rapids and back to metro Detroit... You have helped me many times over the years with my Oneida Aero Force, parts and my Oneida Black Eagle that I had... You even sent me a damaged wood grip for a Lite Force Magnum... You always there to help...

Thanks for all your help... I will keep your email address in case I still need your expert help...
All The Best...

Dave, Sorry to hear about the news. I am the Canadian that called about the trail timers a few weeks ago. I got them quickly and shipped by mail just like you promised. Thank you for the excellent service to someone you never met. I guess that we should all call Jays and ask for Dave. I guess that my joke with you about "Dave's not here man" really hits home now

Info on Setting Up a Game Dropper???

Dave,

I was hoping you would have responded to any info on setting up a BoDoodle Game Dropper but have yet to hear anything...

Is there anything special to setting one of these rests up and would you use one? A friend is having me put one on his Oneida Aero Force. I have put a few Bullets on Oneida's but not one of these.

What is a good accurate bow weight scale? Any Suggestions. Where I might buy one?

Have you every seen an outboard crack on an Oneida Lite Force Magnum? It is cracking from the hinge to the saddle plate and on to the end of the limb... Never seen one cracked before... Got it used and now have to find a set of limbs but no one has a set of medium draw LF in Desert Pine/N American Camo Pattern. Know of anyone that might... CPO does not.

Take Care,

Mike Meehan

Sorry was gone for the 4th.....

I will now responded to any info on setting up a BoDoodle Game Dropper that you have!

It is easy to set up on an Oneida!

When you line up the "Center Shot" line the string in the middle o the top and lower outboard limbs and have the string line up down the center of the arrow.

I use a Chatillon

BUT a Hanson will work just fine for 1/4 the price!

As far as the crack in the outboard limb..IF it is at the butt end under the saddle and only goes up the limb about 1/16" I would not worry too much. But IF you take it to a Dealer he will tell you NOT to shoot it because of if you get hurt....they are in deep do-do!

The Pro Shop I worked does nothave those limbs anymore.....sorry and they cost about $110.00 a pair.

Hope this helps!

Dave,

Thanks for the info... I was hoping for a prompter reply since I have it set up and have return the bow to my friend already. Some say there is a lot to do to set it up. I was just concerned I might have missed something... I guess I will know if it does not shoot as well as his old rest did...

The Outboards from CPO are only about 60.00 a set... But I was hoping to find a set that matches so much for that thought. I guess I will have to buy a set in black and live with the mismatch...

What about a viking bow scale??? equal to a hansen or not???

THANKS FOR the HELP... Just want to make sure and thought I would ask someone that knows...

Regards,
Mike / LFM

Maybe all of us michiganders should go to jays and ask for to have our bows fixed...

when they see the abundance of customers, they will HAVE TO rehire him... just a suggestion...

I appricate all of your devoted time and effort in the archery field up at Jays. I have been to your store numerous times checkin out the guns and bows and all the equipment. I believe I have met you before. You were a great help and changed the way I looked bowhunting. The property I hunt At is just the next exit, old us 27. the Tamarcacks golf course exit. Once again, thanks for your dedication to the art of bowhunting... Josh

I go past your hunting spot on the way up 27 past wolf creek to hunt....small world!

Yes I loved working at Jay's but things happen and change. I loved to help and teach my customers about archery, but I guess the management did not see it that way. Customer service is very important to me and this is what builds the trust and joy of the customers! I just hope the customer service at Jay's keeps the same as when I left and not give less!

Remember I repair bows in my shop, the press will be done soon!

Dave
