Have you arrowed a whitetail buck over 160 inches, or have you not?

160 seems to be the general consensus for a whitetail buck to be considered a trophy. More curious than anything about the quantity of 160s taken with archery gear. Listing the state you hunt, would be nice information also.

I've hunted in Michigan, Tennessee and Missouri and have never seen a 160 deer on hunting land. I did see a 12 point that might have went over 160 but can't say for sure. He was walking pretty fast about 80 yards out.

I seen several here in kansas driving around to ball games, and I missed one the day before thanksgiving due to obstructed arrow deflection:( I plan on laying him down next fall. He made it through the rifle and other seasons here.

The only live deer i've seen here in Mo that would come near 160,was while fishing at Bush wild life about 10yrs ago.Was a Lot of big deer in there.

I hunt in IL and hunted this guy for two years before killing him. I had him in on me 4 different times all just out of range (50+) before taking him at 32 yards.... I cried like a baby from my treestand when I killed him, it was such a rush to finally beat him, what an awesome game of cat and mouse and one I will never forget.. I am hunting his off spring right now and had him at 54 yards this January, next year he is going on my wall........:darkbeer:

i have seen one it was a beast. it was like crazy big but never some close enoguh for a shoot. damn doe.

Gross or net?

I've got three on the wall. 2 that go over 170 gross 1 of those went 159 5/8 after deductions i cant remember what the net on the other 1 is. And one i've never had scored. I also lost one that would have put any of these to shame. I still get a sick feeling when i think about that one getting away. And he did live i saw him about 6 weeks after i shot him. He came by my stand about 60 or 70 yards out with nothing but his head sticking above a whole bunch of brush. What a deer. That's been close to 20 years ago and i can still see that rack. He was a deer of a lifetime.

Gross or net? Are we hunting, or playing soccer?
