Ya, mine does sort of smell like that. So how long is the shelf life of this stuff? I don't see Epx. dates on my bottles. Do they switch the labels every year?

Mine always had a funny smell in the bottle, but never really noticed it when spraying it...I have some from last year as well as deo, toothpaste, shower soap...(my lovely wife took a trip to Lancaster last year for my B-day) and all that stuff will be getting used this season again!! I love the stuff! Took some tinks on a cotton ball and sprayed DDW on it......smell was gone!

yoo hoooo anyone out there?? I am off to Cabela's in 3 hours and am hoping someone out there knows the answer. If in fact it does expire, I will be buying new stuff. How do I tell if it is this year's spray though?? :darkbeer:

I think you will be fine. I had one bottle that smelled like bacon and it actually worked really well. Sprayed into my rubbermaid container that had 2 fresh earth wafers and it completly rid the box of the smell within minutes.

It can expire over time, what will do it in however is freezing or extreem heat, ie leaving it in the car. The smell is molases we use to make the mixture a bit thicker, when the enzymes contact the skin and become active the molases will be broken down extreemly rapidly.

Huh? You put molases inside Dead Down Wind? So it has been stored in our cool basement and hasn't been frozen/heated up. So is it good for like 3-5 years stored that way? Thanks
