A friend of mine and I talk about this kind of crap all the time, how much money does it take to get something that works and keeps working when it is used for hunting or in the outdoors in general. I had a moultrie I40 that I bought new at Cabelas, sure as hell it didn't work right out of the box, took it back, they gave me a new one and that one works great, point being, what does it take. How can these companies send stuff out that doesn't work??

Well not sure exactly what point you think your making...your simply reiderating what most of us already assumed...that you really dont know what the hell your talking about. You can say im jumping on the bandwagon and I could show you a whole box of broken cams, filled over the last 5+ years, and the only manufacturer that we have used thats not in that box...is cuddeback.

As for not being able to disprove your claims and running like wildfire...what claims can we not disprove that its broken your right we cant cause its obviously broken and we never said it wasnt...NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IS GOING TO BUY SOMETHING THAT IS BROKEN. Go ask Lee and Tiffany to buy your broken matthews or Weidell and Cameron Haines to buy your broken hoyt...seriously what kind of sense does that make.

Why arent we buying your cam thats broken...again no one in there right mind I dont care how big of supporter they are is going to buy something that is broken...first is the obvious reason its broken, second is were not the original owner so we cannot get it fixed. Go buy a broken Alphamax for dirt cheap and call up hoyt and ask for a repair...it aint gonna happen grow up.

"We must all be democrats"...again showing your true colors....why dont you stomp your feet stick your fingers in your ears and yell NAHNAHNAHNAH I CANT HEAR YOU.....it would really go perfect with how your acting right now.

Seriously you need to grow the heck up and quit your damn whining...it sucks you got a broken cam and it sucks even more that you feel like your getting the shaft....but something really isnt adding up here.....If you bought a cam and it didnt work from the get go why not take it back to where the hell you bought it???? If it truelly didnt work from day one, the second you opened the package, then you most deffinetly would have returned the damn thing immediately and got your money back or exchanged it for a different one...and if it were truely brand spanking new and broken from the time you opened the package Cudde would most deffinetly not be asking for money to fix it nor would any other company....someones leaving out some key info on this whole story.

I concur! I have a brand new capture ir and it is total pos junk crap. Pic quality is terrible and 1/3 second trigger speed is a joke too. I hate it. More than anything. Ive seen better pics off the 50$ wm cams. Not to mention first set of new batteries lasted a week. A dang week

I have to agree that the Cuddes are not the greatest cams. I have 2 No Flashes and am not happy with the pic quality. My homebrews blow them out of the water. Even my RM45 Reconyx shows it up and thats a 1.3mp camera. But there customer service has been great to me. I got a old camera some how hidden on the shelf of Sportsmens Warehouse that did not work right. I called Non Typical (which was a little pain) but when I sent it back they sent me a new one. So as far as customer service goes I think they are doing there part. But as a camera they are not where they should be. And as far as the easy to use it is the stupidest system ever. It is not user friendly in my mind. If you where to hand my Cudde and my Reconyx to someone that new nothing about them they would have the Reconyx hung on the tree and the Cudde in the bottom of the river after they threw it. Not trying to bash them they are what they are. Hell they got me to buy 2 of them. JMO

I don't see the point in buying 250-300 dollar cameras. ....
yeah, you could hire a full time wildlife photographer for that.

I think of all the trail cams, Cuddebuck takes the best pictures and has the one of the best trigger speeds. No, I'm not biased cause I have a Moultrie.

quit fooling around.

How much did you spend on a bow
your license your hunting lease, etc

spend that on your trail cams

get what works

reconyx

you won't be sorry.

I have 4

they simply work

fast

quit wasting your time and being frustrated.

My first trail cam was a Cuddeback...and it was junk. Several friends have had issues with theirs as well. But then...I have friends with great Cudde's. There seems to have been in the past a hit or miss approach to quality control. Having used a homebrew I don't see myself returning to the retail cam market....the advantages of a homebrew are outstanding.

Each to their own...some get lucky with Cudde, others don't.

I have had very good luck with my cuddies. The one that I did have a problem with I took it back to the place I bought it and they replaced it with know questions asked. Good luck with whatever cam you go with...

My cudde crap broke too!!! No Flash quit taking pics after 16 months. No warranty on a $450 camera and they want $80 to fix it or $110 to replace it with a capture ir!!! Either way she said it would be 4 weeks before I recieve one back  Talk about BS I will not recomend one of these cameras ever again! Their customer service absolutly SUCKS!!!!

Cuddeback ROCKS!!!! Never had a problem with our captures no any of the ones I got for my buddies. Of course all of these are white flash......I have never heard anything good about there IR camera(s). That is why I do not and will not own any.

Also why would ANYONE want to buy your broken camera that you say is a POS? LOL, your nuts...

Look at my posts and see my mind blowing hd cuddeback capture IR photos they are of highest quality. And its brand new thats what really pisses me off.

I have been around the block with a few different cameras since i sell most brands and will tell you the Captures are the best camera i ever had for capturing animals and photo quality! I prefer my $400+ Predators over scapes for video usage, but for trail pics i use all Capture 3.0's and love them enough to pull my SG550V's and Predators for them! I will be testing the new Bushnell shortly also, but right now the Cuddy reigns as my supreme trailcam for photos. This may be sounding biased, but trust me i would much rather sell you a Predator or Reconyx and make 3X's more profit from the sale, but i recommend Captures to most. Each time i get a shipment of Captures in a steal one out of the box (i have to quit doing that! :zip:) and so far i'm 5-5 working prefectly (my I-40's were 0-4 :zip:) so i am very pleased so far and i thought nothing to compare to my Predators for trigger speed or ease of use but Cuddy is there for half the price! I'm not discounting they have duds slip thru of course, and it sucks they didn't take better care of you but hopefully you will get it resolved soon. Check with your dealer to see if he can call his rep for you, maybe things will happen quicker that way. Also, i notice most all complaints come from guys with cameras they got from say 2006-2008, well those cameras were flawed and most know it, so i wouldn't base all the complaints about those on how well a new capture is as even Cuddy knew they weren't up to their standards and thus quit making the excites, experts and no flashes! Don't take this as me making excusses for Cuddeback as i wouldn't buy a Cuddeback camera unless it was a 2009 model Capture myself, just saying they finally got it right and the past is the past- you go far enough back and they ruled the trailcam market back then also.:darkbeer:
