I am about to purchase a new recurve rig. No local pro shops deal with recurves. Was about to buy from Lancaster - but then found Alternative Archery (from the UK I believe) on the web. Their prices are WAY lower, but being outside the US, I worry about shipping time, shipping costs, any other fees, etc. The website says it is quoting in USD, so I don't expect an exchange rate issue.
I haven't yet bought anything significant from LAS, but they seem like they have a team of customer service people that can help answer questions and help set up my rig. Which, for me, is a big plus in their favor.
But, I need to be prudent in spending money right now.
Has anyone had experience with buying from Alternative Archery (good or bad) ?????
Thanks.
