Just purchased a 2004 MM VFT off here and have a question about mods for it, I bought a N#5 28 in. mod for it but was wondering if there was ever a speed mod made for it or is that the only type mod that was made... its shooting a 448 gr. arrow at 28 in. 70# 240fps, just looking for a little more if not will be happy with it as is cause it shoots great...

A Goldtip 7595 with a 100 grain tip and 27 1/2" long will weigh around 383 and speed would be about 265 with 60 ftlbs of KE. Spine is perfect according to TAP. That would be a decent jump in speed with virtually the same KE.

thanks for info.. shot a 26.5 in. 55/75 w/125 gr. and it went through at 260 fps. 3 times in a row, not sure if chrony is spot on but its consistent.

it's got the infiniti cam, which was the speed set up back then. At the time one of the fastest made. in fact, the infinity cam is still one one the fastest solo cam's ever made.

The N5 module on an '04 and 05' Mighty Mite produces a 26" draw length. The N3 module produces a 28" draw length.
You must move the draw stop when changing modules. The manual referenced in the previous thread gives the draw stop settings for the different mods.
I use a bow scale to fine tune the draw stop for 80% letoff. This also effects the valley and draw length.
I have this setup- It's a great little bow- lots of adjustability- and reasonably fast.
Lots of luck.

looked on bowtech webpage and it said the n#5 was a 28 in. draw unless Ilooked at the wrong thing, but I shoot 28 in. and it fits me perfect, pro shop set it up..reason for 26.5 in. arrow is the way the ripcord is set up to shoot shorter arrow...
