None, its snake oil. Just your basic Bohning $3-4.00 tube of string wax. is all you need.

I agree. Regular old wax and a hair dryer. Over Wax everything, including your loop. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and go over it with a hair dryer. Let it sit again for a couple of hours and hit it again with the hair dryer. You will be amazed.

Yeah, but you have to admit ,paying $10-15 bucks for a product called something cool like String Snot and Scorpion Venom is so much better than simply $4 Bohning Bow String Wax.

I have a link you need to look at with regards to using hair dryers. I do not think you really want to use one on a bowstring.

Please read item number one. A string is polymer fiber based and by heating it you will distort/melt...yes, melt...the fibers.

I sell String snot for $7.99 tyd (United States)in the classified ads right here on AT. The bonus is you don't have to spend 30 minutes waxing your string and $5 in electricity running the hair dryer. Lets not even get into the replacement cost of your wife's hair dryer or a set of string that you put to much heat to.
