bear apprentice 15-27" and 20-50lbs.is that all adjustable without mods?saw it in a store and would like to know more about it.for my son.thanks
I believe 24" drawlength actually gives 44lb, which is good enough for deer hunting.Selling different youth bows, I have seen a few like this. What they don't tell you is the weight to draw length is on a slide scale. In other words the max weight of 50lbs can only be had at the max draw length. If you are drawing only 24" you might only get 30lbs. Look on the back of the box, if it is the one I am thinking about, it will have the max weight printed for each dl. Works similar to the Genesis bow except draw specific. Darton has the draw specific plus the universal and two different pegs to get the max weight for each draw length.
Here's a picYes the bow is adjustable with just an allen wrench and you dont have to press the bow. Poundage is 20-50 but will depend on draw length which runs from 15-27.
I bought one for my wife. Pink camo. In short this bow is awesome. Short 27.5 ATA, accurate and quiet. My wife is shooting 38lbs at 23in. with Beeman ICS Hunter Jr. arrows cut to 23in with 100gr heads. I hooked her up with a string stopper also. She has only been shooting for 6 weeks and already is stacking them in there at 30yds.
