Thought about mixing some dried molasses with some mineral salt and regular salt. Usually I mix the regular salt with mineral salt and the deer seem to hit it ok, but thought maybe this would help. Anyone ever try this before?

Tried it.....once. Had so many damn bears around that I abandoned the lick. I use a very small amount of apple flavoring powder now. Like 3lbs to every 200lbs of mineral that I mix up. Just enough scent to get their curiosity.

does liquid molasses help deer at all or solely peek their interest and hold them in an area more?
Read that article i posted above it tells you all about what the benefits are i believe.
