I seen 4 KS bucks fall to the carbon express ones last Nov.

I bought the Troikas and I think Im gonna shoot them this year. Just shot one to see how I like them and I like them so far. Just need to tune them

I killed three with the Carbon Express XT's. Did a great job on three does and watched all but one fall. The other one went about 70 yrds. Here are pics of two of them.

Broadside at 17 yrds.....

I bought a pack of the Carbon Express Quad Pros last year. Used them to kill two raccoons and a doe, they flew pretty good and worked pretty well. I wouldn't say they're the highest quality broadhead in the world, but if you do your job they'll do theirs.

Shockwave was the first mechanical I ever used. They worked fine as every other fixed blade and mechanical I've used have. I've used at least a dozen different broadheads. Every one worked as designed. The only problem I've ever had was my shot placement. My fault. Never the broadhead, period.

i know a guy who uses the torrid and has killed many deer with them, without any problems. my dad uses the xt4 now and has put 3 or 4 down with them. the only problem that he has had was when he was shooting up hill the head went in by the shoulder and burried in the spine up by his neck. the buck went down instantly but he rolled over on the arrow and it broke off at the ferrule. I think given the circumstances that it could have happened with any broadhead. I would not be hesitant to use any of the heads as long as you feel confident.

My buddy was shooting the carbon express out of a crossbow. All the blades would break off.But there would be a dead deer involved at the crime scene.I would laugh and he would say"I didn't plan one using it again anyway"..

I'm a big fan of the Shockwaves. They fly as true as any, big cutting diameter and you can find them regularly for $15 a 3pk or less. Can't force myself into the $40 a pack gimmicks knowing full well the Shockwaves will do just as good if not better a job. Some folks seem to want to load as many $ on the end of their string as possible, I'm the complete opposite. Give me a good product at a great price and I'm a happy boy.

the native's are pretty tough, at least the blade is. The ferrule is still aluminum. I found a 3 pack on sale for $7. So as long as it kills the animal dead the first time, i have no real need to use the broadhead again.

I'm starting to believe this is the absolute truth. If you tune your bow to shoot the broadhead you'll be good to go. Competition is too high in the broadhead market these days and with the internet if a head is truly poorly designed it won't be on the market long because information is exchanged so rapidly. I can't get into the $30+ for a three pack of broadheads.

I only shoot a head one time at a deer, with the exception of muzzy's which of course I had to change out the blades.
